Action Shot

Time to dig into the rapid fire treasure box & bust out the process gifs!

So much has been happening in the land of the visual over the last few months, we have barely had time to showcase any of it! Here’s Anna prepping some pieces that are now hanging on fancy blocks of wood at Maison de’Etoile, the home of tomorrow’s Crummy House show, Much Updo about Somethings. Come see all charming collaborations while enjoying free drank from Dripping Springs Vodka and badass jams from WABI SABI !

The sounds that Vegetable Kingdom made in our recent collaboration have been added to Tasty! Foundation’s upcoming show in October. A big thanks to Logan and all of our collaborators thus far and in the future. Your inspiration keeps Crummy House going!

Read more about Tasty! Foundation’s mission:

The aim of the smacznego! Foundation (pl for ‘tasty!’) is to investigate sidetracks and verges of culture. This is often the place where most interesting phenomena are hidden along with their creators, whose firm noncomformism condemns them for both social and artistic exclusion. Our foundation is commited to the task of revealing at least some of the brave ideas of people, for whom so-called ‘artistic community’ is an artificial and too narrow-minded a milieu. Our interests consist primarily of visual arts and music. An important facet of our activities is also an attempt to form social awareness of marginalized artistic phenomena of Polish art. But we are also open to co-operate with artists beyond boundaries.

Sending vibes

We’re sending out the first of many packages into the world. Keep your eyes peeled and you might have one of these land at your door. Art by the post, the best kind in my opinion. Also, up next in the coming future, new zine announcements and art projects!

HOT ROD zine release

The zine release was tons of fun and what a good feeling to put a ton of effort into something and then get drinks with your friends. We’ll be trying to do more of these gatherings in the future and hope to get more of the community involved in supporting art in bound form.

Below: Xavier, Mimi and Jack check out the zine.

Thanks to everyone who helped bring HOT ROD to life, including X.C Atkins, Mad+Musty Printing, the artists Othello Gervacio, Emerald Grippa, Minka Sicklinger. Both Jessica and myself added a few works to the book and were honored to be among such great artists.
